5 min easy jog/walk to cool down
2 minutes hamstring stretching
2 minutes in spiderman lunge (1 min each side)
2 minutes of elevated calf stretch
We are entering a cycle to prepare us for Murph at the end of the month. The easiest way to do that, is well by doing Murph - or at least 'Half Murph'. We will be focusing on our gymnastics. Expect discussions on proper activation during movements (what's actually being flexed) and understanding the concept of pacing.
This past Saturday we had a good number of athletes compete at ARKLATEX WODFEST 2017 over at CrossFit SBC. It was also great to see a number of members stop by to support them during their workouts. I believe we all learned from the experience of the event from individual weaknesses as an athlete and as coaches to better help athletes deal with emotions and mental barriers.
