WHAT IS CROSSFIT? WHY IS IT DIFFERENT AT BCCF?

CrossFit is defined as “a high-intensity fitness program incorporating elements from several sports and types of exercise.” To expand on that further, CrossFit is “a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone—people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.”

Bossier City CrossFit members may have different abilities but are equally capable nonetheless! Our members serve the community and the country in different capacities. We have members who are active duty and reserve military, law enforcement and first responders, public education, health care, and many other industries. No matter what you do, you will be a welcomed member of our community!

At Bossier City CrossFit, you can expect to see WODs that consist of Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, calisthenics, and cardiovascular endurance in order to build skills applicable in and outside of the box.
